Installation of Tial + SAFC2
at last, the long awaited day had finally arrived and i didn't mind driving 70km only to get both things installed. i brought my car to CM MOTORSPORT in Ipoh, near Falim traffic light as recommended by friends of mine. at first, i was told the labor charge(workmanship) could be around RM3++ but due to some circumstances, it raised to RM7++ and kept raising until the receipt finally did its job, RM1030 (total). haa it's a lot of money huh but what can i say? well here's the pics...enjoy!

Tial MVS 38mm + 9" Exedy Racing Clutch
I am about to buy a brand new tial mvs 38mm wastegate which will costs me around RM850 but due to current situation, i prefer buying it from a friend of mine who offered me rm850 (tial mvs + 9" exedy racing clutch). i got 2 things for one price but at the same time i am risking myself on its quality and functionality of aftermarket product. well it didn't bother me, i trust him. here's the pics:

NITTO wastegate
i got WDB along with this type of wastegate already installed. at first i wasn't pretty sure of its functionality but i did some revisions (thanx wikipedia and other associated pages). it is used to regulate the maximum boost pressure in turbocharger system. hehe by defining in english, it is a valve which controls the pressure limit before entering the engine for combustion.
however nothing lasts forever rite? the valve (spring rate) didn't functions effectively anymore as i went boosting until 2bar before the intercooler piping which connected to the throttle body got loose. well it's time to upgrade for tial mvs 38mm i guess hehehe. good bye Nitto!

ENEOS 20w-50
previously, i thought vtec LEV 15w-40 can solve my noisy tepet but after all, i knew it never did. it just reduced the noise for about 1000km only, so I moved on to eneos super 20w-50, recommended by Din, a foreman who owns a workshop in Gambang. he himself is a vtec believer, blue civic ferio with b18c in the engine bay. well thanx man, it's just better.

upgrading the turbo
my car wasn't in a good performance for such a long period of time since the existing plugged in td04 is kantoi. it took me about a half year, wow its 6 months huh to get a bigger turbo to replace the old one. there are 2 options; either you upgrade (rm1200+workmanship around rm200) or get the stock turbo with lower price (rm800). i prefer to upgrade since lots of advice of "alang-alang" hehehe...welcome to the bay, td05!

it's been quite a long time since my last update for this blog hehe...however this post isn't about how busy i am, it's just about the super airflow converter(safc2) invented by apexi. hehehe finally i manage to own it myself!
